Start of a new portfolio
For some reason I become obsessed with creating a new portfolio in the summer time. Maybe the long days call for activity, or maybe I can only stand looking at my old work for so long.
I’ve start a new book which I am going to base on environmental portraits. I’ve been casting for about a month now—working out ideas and locations. On Friday August 17th the shoots started. Here are the rusults of an afternoon with Atzko.
It was an unusually bright and sunny day for San Francisco. I was hoping for the usual clouds, but we made do.

First real photo post
Hello,
I’m digging through some edits I did over the weekend to find the best images for this post. I decided to start with a number of family pictures that I took of over the summer. These were tests and experiments with no real focus on out come. I just wanted to see what I could get.
I feel a little embarrassed because family photos are the most ubiquitous images on the Internet. I like to be more original generally. But at the same time your family should be your foundation. So this is a good place to start.
Enjoy,
Gregory
